Ternopil oblast: the rescuers of Melnytsia-Podilska settlement received training certificates and combat clothing

The project of the program "U-LEAD with Europe" initiated by the association of voluntary fire brigades of the Republic of Poland, which was aimed at developing cooperation and exchange of experience between Ukrainian and Polish rescuers, has come to the end.

On August 6, the Head of the Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Ternopil oblast Colonel of the Civil Protection Service Viktor Maslei presented the certificates of special training to the rescuers of local fire brigade of Melnytsia - Podilska United Territorial Community, who have successfully completed the training on “IMPROVEMENT OF CIVIL PROTECTION IN THE UNITED TERRITORIAL COMMUNITIES OF UKRAINE - THE NEXT STEP”.

During April 23 – June 30 the members of the local fire brigade improved their rescue skills, mastered the methods of prevention campaigns in the field of local security, and received the explanations about the role of local fire and rescue units and local communities in forming fire and local security. The total course of study consisted of 140 hours of theoretical and practical classes.

As a gift from Polish colleagues the rescuers of Melnytsia-Podilska settlement received new European-style uniforms, the combat clothing was purchased at the expense of the united territorial community.
