Published: 04.07.2020, 08:02

To eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation that occurred in the Ivano-Frankivsk region after the rain flood, the Carpathian rescuers received humanitarian aid from the Government of Sweden.

Relevant equipment, namely flood barriers, sandbags, barrier coils, cable ties and fire hoses, arrived on July 2 and was unloaded by rescuers from the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Department of the State Emergency Service.

Humanitarian aid will be provided for the needs of flood-affected districts - Rohatyn, Tlumach, Nadvirna and Halych.

This is not the first case when European countries help the population of Prykarpattia to cope with the consequences of a natural disaster. Earlier, the Italian government sent humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
