International Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems of Emergency Situations” was held at the NUCPU in the online mode

On May 20, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems of Emergency Situations” was held at the National University of Civil Protection of Ukraine in the virtual mode. More than 500 experts from 14 countries - Ukraine, Israel, Poland, Belarus, Austria, Italy, Turkey, Germany, Sweden, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Estonia took part in the online scientific forum.

The scientists discussed the issues related to the problems and prospects of implementing the latest developments and technologies aimed to emergency preventing, minimizing its consequences in the field of civil protection, sharing experiences and finding new facets of scientific cooperation.

During the online conference the next sections worked: “Emergency Prevention”, “Scientific and practical aspects of monitoring and management in the field of civil protection”, “Emergency response and relief”, “Chemical technology and engineering, radiation and chemical protection”, “Environmental safety and labor protection”.

During the conference, a contract for the publication of the materials of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Problems of Emergency Situations” in an indexed periodical publication has been signed with Trans Tech Publications Ltd (Zurich, Switzerland). Articles of the conference participants that met the established requirements will be published in a separate volume in a scientific journal indexed in the Scopus Materials Science Forum.
