Today, in a festive atmosphere, Rector of Lviv State University of Life Safety Miroslav Koval and Consul General of Poland in Ukraine Eliza Dzvonkevich, in the presence of numerous guests and partners, initiated a new round of practical part of the educational process, opening fire and gas modules. In recent years, the Lviv State University of Life Safety together with the Main School of the State Fire Service in the city of Warsaw have been implementing the project "Regional Rescue Training Centers - Supporting the Training System for DPO and Occupational Emergency Services in Ukraine" funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland “Polish help".
The commander of the State Fire Protection of the Lublin Voivodeship, Senior Brigadier Gzegozh Alinowskyi, Project Manager Senior Brigadier of the Main School of Fire Service in Warsaw, Wojciech Jarosz, President of the company of the manufacturer of the training complex Wladyslaw Radziwill City Security Sergey Babak, Chief of State Emergency Situations Department in Lviv Oblast Yuri Kagitin, instructors and colleagues from Poland and other distinguished guests.
The training complex is intended for practical preparation of gas-smoke protectors (rescuers) for work in a non-breathing environment under fire influences, high temperature with the use of various types of personal protective equipment (PPE), as well as practicing tactical methods of extinguishing fires.
The module's equipment allows to train for the purpose of formation of psychological readiness for action in extreme situations. The situations simulated during training are as close as possible to the actual working conditions of firefighters and rescuers.
