Mountain rescuers of Zakarpattia region adopt the experience of saving people in the mountains from their Polish colleagues

Rescuers of Zakarpattia region continue their partnership with their Polish colleagues . An example of such cooperation is the current visit of mountain rescuers of the SES of Zakarpattia region to the Subcarpathian Voivodeship of Poland. This international working meeting is being held within the framework of the joint project “Increasing Security in Border Regions” of the “Polish Aid for Development - 2019” program , funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

During November 4-9, 12 mountain rescuers from Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions together with colleagues from the Bieszczady Group of the Polish Mountain Rescue Service will complite theoretical and practical training course in emergency search and rescue operations. The trainings, the conditions of which are as close as possible to the real ones, take place in the Bieszczad Mountains near Stezhnytsia village of Balgorod gmina of Liski county of Subcarpathian voivodeship.

At the end of the event, Ukrainian rescuers will return home not only with additional knowledges and skills in search and rescue operations in the mountains, but also with new outfit, presented to them by foreign colleagues.
