A two-day working visit of the General Directorate of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic to Ukraine has finished with a visit to Lviv Oblast. On June 4, a delegation of the Czech rescuers accompanied by the Head of the SESU Mykola Chechotkin visited the Lviv State University of Life Safety and the Main Department of the SES of Ukraine in Lviv Oblast.
The Head of the SESU and Czech rescuers together with the Rector of the University Myroslav Koval inspected the material and technical base, a training center for the intellectual modelling of a safe future, an educational fire and rescue unit, a psychological training center and a museum of educational institution, where all the sights of history of Alma Mater are being housed.
The development of a methodology for conducting of command staff exercise with masters and with the involvement of employees of other services has been also demonstrated to foreign guests. During exercise the participants were divided into three groups: the site of event, the headquarters for the emergency response, the commission for the elimination of emergency. The control and coordination of exercises was carried out by the control group. The main objective is acquiring of managerial skills in the work on emergency response, this methodology is tested and flexible and can be used for different groups of participants, based on the adopted normative documents of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the methodology on mass emergency response (according to the Maksim System), within the framework of experience gained during the international exercises EU-CHEAM-REACT.
In his turn, the gusts have been familiarized with the work of the operational coordination center and the emergency service system for the population at the common phone number “112 in the Main Department of the SESU in Lviv Oblast.
