On March 27, the Dutch representatives of the charity fund “Caritas Holland” visited rescuers in Khmelnytskyi region.
During the meeting, Eduard Bratko, the Chief of the SES of Ukraine in Khmelnytskyi region thanked the guests for their assistance provided to the rescuers of the Chemerovetsky district from Caritas Holland Foundation. And namely: 270 sets of protective clothing, 96 jackets for firefighters, 27 fire-fighting helmets, 240 panoramic masks and 60 backpacks for oxygen cylinders for a total amount of over 2.5 million UAH.
“This is a significant support for the unit, because the received equipment will help the SES to eliminate the consequences of fires and various types of emergencies more efficiently”, - said the head of the Rescue Service of the region.
In the course of communication, ways of further cooperation in the area of civil protection of population of the region were discussed. Separately, they focused on the experience from Dutch colleagues that which is extremely important for the construction of a rescue service of European type.
